Using Vitamins For Weight Loss

It seems that everyone is always on a diet to try and lose weight.  The down side; is a lot of these diets will not have a well balanced nutrition that you need on a daily basis.  This is where a good multi designed specifically for weight loss can literally be a life saver.

 

Part of you diet plan should be taking a good weight loss vitamin.  The body needs to function properly to lose weight, and it is important to have the essential vitamins and minerals for this to happen.

B3: Also known as niacin, this is essential for the normal production of the thyroid hormone and for your glucose tolerance factor to regulate your blood sugar levels. You can get this from liver, chicken, eggs, fish, oats, and cheese.
  • Vitamin B2: This is also known as riboflavin and it is needed for metabolism. Good sources of B2 include milk, almonds, eggs, and green leafy vegetables.
  • Vitamin B5: Without this, you cannot burn fat. It contributes to energy production and the functions of your adrenalin gland. You can get a dose of B5 from green vegetables, meat, nuts, wheat, oats, beans, and eggs.
  • Vitamin B6: This is important for your metabolism and your thyroid hormone. Good sources of B6 include oats, wheat, fish, bananas, and eggs.

    It is always best to obtain your vitamins from a good balanced diet.  However, when you are dieting, it may be necessary to take additional supplements.
